Just couple of reocurring questions I decided to include for your and my comfort. Please keep in mind this is not AMA and probably covers just tip of an iceberg.Q: What does "Isvoc" mean?
A: Isvoc is my artistic nickname I've been using for years now. Initially it was a name of a creature race from my personal project; later I adapted it as nickname due to lack of better choice. It did stick, so if you prefer to communicate on less official basis - feel free to call me Isvoc ;-)Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: Most people say "since I was able to hold a pencil". It wasn't very different in my case. I've been drawing since forever, but it was far from polishing and honing a profession. I started studying, improving and taking art seriously around 2010. Digital art came year or two later.Q: How did you get started?
A: One day you just find a thing you love and you keep on doing it for rest of your life. I started as a teenager who thought she knows it all. With years I started training more, exploring more, experimenting more and proved myself wrong and kept on going ;)Q: Do you draw daily? How long?
A: Of course! It varies but often 10 hours and more.Q: Are you self-taught?
A: I've been part of a highschool with extra art hours in past. This was more of an experience that I'd label as destructive than teaching one. I am learning to do art right here. At my desk, with tons of books, workshops and hours of studies. So I guess reply to this question is up to interpretation ;) Q: What materials do you use?
A: For digital art I use Wacom Intuos Pro M Touch and Photoshop CS6. For traditional art - everything I can find and use effectively. I don't have brand preferences.Q: What do you do for living?
A: I am a freelance artist. I draw whatever clients commission me for - from illustrations, through book covers, CD covers, character concepts - all kinds of things.Q: Do you do tutorials or workshops? Do you offer mentorship?
A: Aww, this one always makes me blush. Sorry, but I don't! I don't posess skills that could be actually translated into effective teaching content. Maybe one day. Teaching is really not my thing, I don't feel competent enough. If you are interested in behind the scenes process you can alawys visit my youtube channel.Q: Are you a furry?
A: No. I just tend to get commissioned by many :)Q: Can you share your music playlist with me?
A: I can't literally share my playlist with you, but feel free to check my last.fm
- here you should find some goodies for your ears.
